This policy covers this website only. The Terra claims marketplace at terra-claim.com has its own privacy policy. Claims portals we run for an estate, exchange or protocol are covered by the agreement with that institution and the notice shown on the portal.

• Visits to this site. Our hosting provider processes technical data needed to deliver and protect the site: IP address, date and time, the page requested, referrer and browser type. We do not use this data to identify you or build profiles.
• Emails you send us. Your name, email address and whatever you include, such as details of a claim (debtor, amount, proof of claim).
• Calls you book. Bookings run on Cal.com. You give Cal.com your name, email address, the time and any notes, and we receive them to hold the call.

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive data, such as identity documents, through this site or by email.

This site does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or similar tracking technologies. Fonts and images are served from our own domain. Sites we link to, such as Cal.com, Trustpilot, LinkedIn and terra-claim.com, have their own cookie practices once you open them.

• To run the site and keep it secure, based on our legitimate interest in a working, protected website.
• To answer your enquiry, hold the call you booked and discuss a claim or an engagement, based on steps taken at your request before entering a contract, or our legitimate interest in replying to you.
• To meet legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not sell personal data, share it for advertising, or use it for automated decisions about you.

• Service providers that act on our behalf: Vercel, Inc. (hosting), Cal.com, Inc. (call scheduling) and our email provider.
• Buyers or partners in a claim sale or engagement, only the details needed and only when you ask us to take it forward.
• Professional advisers and authorities, such as lawyers and auditors, or a court or regulator where the law requires it.

We are based in the United States, and so are our main service providers. If you write to us from the EU, the UK, Korea or elsewhere, your data is processed in the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on standard contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

Hosting logs are kept for the short period set by our hosting provider. Emails and booking details are kept for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and any business that follows, and then deleted unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent you have given. Write to hey@iclaim.xyz; we reply within one month. If you are in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority. Residents of Korea, California and other places with privacy laws have the rights those laws give them, and we will honour them.

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to emails and booking details is limited to the people who need them. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not email documents you would not want to be exposed.

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

If we change this policy, we post the new version here with a new date.
